Microsoft Expands Your Phone ‘Calling’ Functionality to More Android Devices
Earlier this year, at the Samsung Unpacked event, Microsoft and Samsung announced a feature that was, at the time, limited to the Note 10. The feature allowed you to answer calls on your PC using Your Phone, that functionality is expanding to other devices.
As part of the new Windows 10 build that is being released today, Your Phone is being updated to support other devices with this functionality, as long as it meets the minimum spec requirements: Android 7.0 and Windows 10 19H1.
If your phone meets these requirements, you can answer incoming calls, start calls on your PC, decline incoming calls, access recent history, and transfer calls between PC and your phone seamlessly.
Also happening today is the availability of Windows 10 build 18999 and in this release, everyone can now resize and move the Cortana window. That’s about it for big changes with this release and you can grab it from the Fast ring right now.
As always, before installing the build, make sure to check out the known issues before proceeding.
