Apple Lets Apple Card Owners Skip April Payments

Posted April 1, 2020 | Apple | Apple Card | Goldman Sachs | Windows

Apple is extending its offer to let Apple Card owners defer their payments for the month of April. The company introduced its Customer Assistance Program last month to help customers who are currently facing financial difficulties.

Apple’s Customer Assistance Program allowed Apple Card owners to skip their payments for the month of March. The Customer Assistance Program is now being extended to let Apple Card owners defer their payments for another month, reports Bloomberg.

Back in March, Apple said tens of thousands of customers had reportedly taken advantage of the new Customer Assistance Program within days of its availability. Apple is working with Goldman Sachs, the provider of the Apple Card, on the new Customer Assistance Program.

If you were one of the Apple Card customers who used the Customer Assistance Program last month, you will have to enroll into the program once again to be able to defer your payments for April. “We understand that the Covid-19 situation poses unique challenges for everyone and some customers may have difficulty making their monthly payments,” Apple said in an email to Apple Card owners. “If you previously enrolled in the Customer Assistance Program in March, you will need to enroll again.”

Apple Card owners can join the Customer Assistance Program via the Messages app on their iPhone.
