Castbox Now Integrates with Waze
Castbox announced today that it now integrates with Waze so that users listen to their favorite podcasts while navigating.

Users of both apps can now connect Waze to Castbox from within the Waze app. Once the apps are connected, users can access playback controls for play/pause, skip, and restart without leaving the Waze navigation screen. Likewise, listeners can receive turn-by-turn traffic directions while in the Castbox app. You can switch between the two apps using a single tap.
“Our partnership with Castbox expands on our mission to strengthen the Waze ecosystem by integrating with apps and services that complement and enhance the driver experience,” Waze’s Adam Fried says. “We’re pleased to be working with Castbox to give our users more ways to enjoy their favorite audio content while they’re on the road.”
If you’re not familiar with Castbox, this is the podcasting app I chose after Pocket Casts jumped the shark in early 2019. I recommend it.
