Google has never really been able to control leaks of its upcoming phones. And that was especially apparent with the launch of the Pixel 3 last year. With the Pixel 4 launch, the company tried to tackle the leaks by announcing some of the major features by itself. That didn’t really help, though. We have had a couple of leaks of the Pixel 4 this month, and we are getting a full-blown look at the Pixel 4 XL this week.

Two different YouTube channels have managed to get their hands on a fully functional Pixel 4 XL device. The first video, which is almost 7 minutes long, shows off the Pixel 4 XL in all its glory. The video shows off features like Smooth Display, which will allow the Pixel 4 to dynamically adjust the refresh rate of the 6.23-inch display between 60hz and 90hz. Another display feature on the Pixel 4 is Ambient EQ, which seemingly adjusts the display based on your environment’s lighting.

The video also confirms the main specs of the device, including the 6GB RAM, storage of 128GB, and the Snapdragon 855 processor. We also get a closer look at the Pixel 4 XL’s camera setup, which is surprisingly way more elegant than the one on the iPhone 11 Pro.

And then another video of the Pixel 4 XL leaked, showing off not one, but all three different colors of the phone. The quality of the video isn’t as good as the one before, but it features all the three different variants of the Pixel 4 XL, and even shares some early camera samples from the device. And as Droid Life notes, the video also confirms some of the specs of the camera setup at the back, consisting of the Sony IMX481 (16MP) telephoto shooter and a Sony IMX363 (12.2, f1.7) wide-angle lens:

So yes, that’s about it for the Pixel 4 leaks this week so far. I’d imagine we are going to see a lot more of this before the actual launch, which could happen sometime around mid-October.
