Huawei is launching some new hardware this month. The company’s Mate 30 has leaked a couple of times, and it’s almost ready for an official launch. The company sent out official invites for the launch event on Sunday.

Huawei will be taking the wraps off its new Mate 30 series in Munich, Germany on the 19th of September. The invite is pretty simple, but it confirms one of the biggest leaks about the new Mate 30.

A recent leak suggested Huawei’s Mate 30 will include a large circular camera setup on the back, and considering Huawei has done some crazy stuff with its phone cameras recently, this will definitely be an interesting one. The company essentially confirmed the camera design with its event invite, stating “we’re going full circle in Munich on 19.09.2019”.

The invite itself is titled “Rethink Possibilities” and includes a circle which is probably hinting at the round camera design at the back of the Mate 30. The camera setup is meant to include a total of 4 sensors at the back, by the way.

Here’s the concerning part, though: US businesses are yet to be approved to be doing business with Huawei, which means the Mate 30 may not come with Google Play Services. Huawei could instead reveal its own solution, considering it’s already revealed its alternative to Android and its also working on its own mapping service.
