Microsoft Flight Simulator Heads to Canada
The latest World Update for Microsoft Flight Simulator is now available, and this one includes high-fidelity imagery of Canada.
“Canada is filled with a plethora of sights to explore from the air: magnificent urban architecture, wave-battered northern coastlines, and vast sweeps of tundra, glaciers, and towering peaks,” Microsoft’s Jorg Neumann writes. “Microsoft Flight Simulator’s World Update XI invites simmers to explore this massive, diverse country, presented in the highest resolution and fidelity yet.”
World Update XI features five airports including British Columbia’s Castlegar/West Kootenay Regional Airport (CYCG), Victoria International Airport, and Vancouver Island, and 9 exciting missions, including three bush trips (Vancouver Island, Newfoundland, and the Canadian Rockies), three landing challenges (Castlegar, Barkerville, and Calgary), and three discovery flights (Vancouver, Montreal, and Toronto).
As with previous World Updates, this one is free and available to all Microsoft Flight Simulator users across PC, Xbox Series X|S, PC Game Pass, and Xbox Cloud Gaming.
