Microsoft is determined to complete the development of Windows 10 version 2004 before the troops go home for the holidays.

“Today we’re releasing Windows 10 Insider Preview Build 19037.1 (20H1) to Windows Insiders in the Fast and Slow rings,” Microsoft announced this afternoon. There isn’t much more to say: There are no new features, of course, because the development of 20H1 is complete, save for some bug fixes. And it released the previous build, 19035, just two days prior.

That said, Microsoft did note that while Windows PowerShell ISE is still installed by default, it’s now a Feature on Demand feature, so you’ll see it in the Optional Features Settings list.

Remaining bugs that Microsoft admits to including an ongoing BattlEye anti-cheat software incompatibility, Setup rollbacks with error code 0xc1900101, Setup hangs (which I experienced with the previous build), some unresponsive USB 3.0 drives, and a few other issues. Nothing that will prevent the team from starting their vacations nice and early. After all, 20H1 will receive several cumulative updates before it’s made available to the public, presumably in April 2020.
