Not too long ago, NVIDIA launched its new RTX GPUs for laptops. The company is today bringing its new Turing architecture to even cheaper devices with the new GeForce GTX 1660 Ti GPU.

NVIDIA’s latest GPU is based on the 12th-gen Turing architecture, promising 1.4x more power efficiency than Pascal-based GPUs. And although it is based on the new Turing architecture, you won’t be getting the ray-tracing and other special features that are available on the RTX line.

The new GPU is still apparently capable of offering 120fps on popular games like Fortniite and Apex Legends. NVIDIA claims the new GPU is 1.5x faster than the GeForce GTX 1060 6GB, and up to 3x faster than the GTX 960 from 2014.

In terms of specs, the GTX 1660 Ti comes with 1,536 CUDA cores, 6GB of GDDR6 memory running at 12Gbps and a boost clock of almost 1.8 GHz (1770MHz). The new GPU starts at only $279, and you can get one here.
