Older Versions of Windows 10 Pickup New Cumulative Updates

Posted August 19, 2019 | Cumulative Updates | Windows | Windows 10

Just last Tuesday, Microsoft delivered a number of Patch Tuesday updates for almost all versions of Windows 10. The company released updates for Windows 10 version 1903, as well as older versions — including 1809, 1803, 1709, 1703, 1607, and the original version of Windows 10.

And over the weekend, it’s released another set of new cumulative updates for some versions of Windows 10. This new set of updates include updates for version 1809, 1709, 1703, 1607, and the original version of Windows 10.

These new updates aren’t anything substantial, with most of the updates having an identical changelog. The update for Windows 10 version 1809, 1709, 1703, 1607, and the original Windows 10, for example, includes a fix for certain websites on Microsoft Edge and Internet Explorer where users were having troubles downloading copyrighted digital media. And on 1809, Microsoft’s fixed an issue that prevented Windows Hello face recognition from working after restarting your device.

You can find the full changelogs below:

The updates were released over the weekend, so you should probably already have them installed — if not, you can install them via Windows Update as usual.
