Amazon’s Luna cloud gaming service is getting an interesting new integration with Ubisoft’s PC game store. Starting today, PC gamers can connect their Ubisoft account to Amazon Luna and play select Ubisoft games they own on Amazon’s cloud gaming service at no additional cost.

Until now, Amazon Luna required users to subscribe to different channels to access a curated selection of games. As of today, there’s the $9.99/ Amazon Luna+ channel providing access to a growing catalog of games from different publishers, and there’s also the $17.99/month Ubisoft+ channel that includes all the latest Ubisoft games plus all their DLCs. However, if you already purchased PC versions of Ubisoft games on the Ubisoft online store, you can now play them for free on Amazon Luna.

“Gaming fans now have more choices than ever when it comes to purchasing and playing their favorite games. You can now link your Ubisoft account to Luna to play select PC games you already own and purchase select new PC games, with game saves continuously updating,” the Amazon Luna team explained.

In addition to this new integration with Ubisoft’s PC game store, Amazon Luna will continue to offer access to a rotating selection of Luna games to Amazon Prime subscribers. However, Amazon warned that Prime members who want to play PC Ubisoft games they own may now “experience wait times during peak hours.”

Prime members who want to enjoy faster access to Luna’s servers will need to subscribe to the Luna+ channel. This is similar to how Nvidia’s GeForce Now game streaming service works, with a free tier only providing limited access to the company’s servers.

Amazon Luna is still only available in the US, and Amazon has yet to announce when its cloud gaming service will become available in more markets.
