Remember the Galaxy Home? Samsung’s Bixby-powered smart speaker? Well, that device was first revealed back in August of 2018, but Samsung is yet to actually release the product.

And even before the company released the Galaxy Home, it announced the Galaxy Home Mini in 2019. But, as you may already know, both of the devices are nowhere to be seen and Samsung has practically told us nothing about what’s going on.

That’s finally changing, though. The company accidentally published a press release for the Galaxy Home Mini, and it was quickly spotted byTizenHelp (via Android Police). The press release shed some details about the Galaxy Hoem Mini, but mainly, it revealed the apparent release date for the speaker.

According to the press release, which has already been deleted, Samsung will be launching the Galaxy Home Mini on February 12. The device will sell in South Korea for 99,00 KRW, which is roughly around $83. It’s not clear when and whether the product will be available in other parts of the world, though.

Samsung’s Galaxy Home Mini speaker will be slightly different than things like the Amazon Echo Dot or Google Home Mini as it will feature four IR remote transmitters that can control IR-based appliances without an internet connection.

With the device releasing on February 12, just a day after Samsung’s Unpacked event, it’s very likely Samsung will talk more about the device at the event. Either way, this still doesn’t solve the mystery of the main Galaxy Home speaker, which is yet to show up.
