Sony says that it should now be “much easier” to purchase a PlayStation 5 console around the world. The announcement echoes a previous statement for PlayStation boss Jim Ryan, who said earlier this month at CES that the component shortages were finally over.

“To all our fans: thank you for your patience as we navigated unprecedented demand for the PS5 console amid global challenges. If you’re looking to purchase a PS5 console, you should now have a much easier time finding one at retailers globally,” wrote Isabelle Tomatis,
Vice President, Brand, Hardware and Peripherals, SIE.

Sony is now selling PlayStation 5 consoles directly on direct.playstation.com, but you may also want to check out if the retailers around you have them in stock. Sony has sold over 30 million PlayStation 5 consoles so far, and the company previously claimed that December was the biggest month ever for PlayStation 5 sales.

Even though Sony raised the price of its PlayStation 5 console in all markets except the US back in August, demand remains really high and it will likely get a boost from the upcoming launch of the PlayStation VR2 on February 22. The new VR headset is already available for pre-order for $549.99, and Sony promises over 30 games available at launch.

Sony is also launching a global “Live from PS5” marketing campaign today. If you live in London, you may spot a giant replica of Kratos’ Leviathan axe from the God of War games near the London Eye, which will be there until Thursday.
