But its usage is dwarfed by that of Windows 10 version 1903, which is now in use on over half of all Windows 10 PCs, according to the latest report from AdDuplex. The firm also supplied some up-to-date stats on Surface PC usage.

Windows 10 version 1903 “is now on 53.4 percent of Windows 10 PCs and [version 1909] is on 15.2 percent,” the report notes, adding that “more than 90,000 Windows 10 PCs were surveyed” to acquire this data. The report also adds that this means that the two feature updates released in 2019 are now on over two-thirds of all PCs running Windows 10.

As for the Surface usage data, AdDuplex reports that Surface Go usage has “shot up in the chart” since its last look, back in October 2019. At that time, Surface Go accounted for about 12 percent of all Surface PCs in use; today, that figure is 14.5 percent, and the Go has jumped into third place, usage-wise, after Surface Pro 4 (17.42 percent) and Surface Pro 5 (2017, 14.7 percent).

AdDuplex adds that “Surface Pro 7 is on a familiar upward track of all the ‘classic’ Surface Pro devices, while Laptop 3 and Pro X occupy the niche just above the Studio All-in-Ones.” Surface Pro 7 is currently the 6th-most-often-used Surface PC, with 5 percent usage.

The top 6 Surface PCs are all tablet-type PCs, and 5 of the top 6 are Pro models.
