Posted May 6, 2020 | Windows | Xbox | Xbox Game Pass

Microsoft is announcing a bunch of new games coming to its Xbox Game Pass service today. With Xbox Game Pass now having more than 10 million subscribers, it’s no surprise to see Microsoft bringing new games to the service quite regularly.

The company is adding four new titles for those on consoles, with the highlight being DayZ and Red Dead Redemption 2. Both the games will be launching on Xbox Game Pass tomorrow (May 7).

Final Fantasy IX will then join the catalog on May 14, followed by Fractured Minds ([email protected]on May 19. Microsoft is also getting rid of a total of 8 titles for those on consoles. Starting May 7, Grand Theft Auto V will no longer be part of Xbox Game Pass. Black Desert, Doom, Lego Ninjago Movie Video Game, Mega Man Legacy Collection 2, Metal Gear Survive, The Banner Saga and Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus will also be removed on May 15.

For those on PCs, Microsoft says Endless Legend, Final Fantasy IX, and Halo Master Chief Collection: Halo 2 will be joining Xbox Game Pass for PC soon. On May 15, the following games will be leaving the Xbox Game Pass for PC catalog:

  • Imperator: Rome
  • Rise of the Tomb Raider
  • The Banner Saga
  • West of Loathing
  • Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus

As usual, games that are leaving the Xbox Game Pass catalog (on both PCs and consoles) are 20% off for Xbox Game Pass subscribers.
