Google today announced that it is bringing four new features to “Chrome for iOS,” the version of its web browser for iPhone and iPad.

“Some new and favorite Chrome features are headed to iOS as we continue to bring the best of Google to iPhone and iPad users,” Google’s Nasim Sedaghat writes in the announcement post. “On top of recently-launched features like Chrome Actions, check out four updates coming to Chrome on iOS to help you quickly get more done from your browser.”

These updates are:

Maps view for addresses. Now, when you see a street address in Chrome, you can press and hold it to view the location in Google Maps, but right in the browser with no need to switch apps.

More easily create calendar events. Similar to the above feature, you can now press and hold on a date in Chrome and select “Add to Google Calendar” to create a new event without having to switch apps.

Improved translations. Chrome now offers improved translation capabilities and it will offer to automatically translate websites in other languages. And similar to the above two features, you can also now translate a portion of a web page using Google Translate right within Chrome.

Search with your camera. You will soon see a new Lens icon in the Chrome address bar that will let you search images in your camera roll or live images with your camera.
