Official Android Pie update arrives for US unlocked LG V40 ThinQ variant
Commercially released in October 2018 with a Snapdragon 845 processor, extra-large 6.4-inch OLED screen, and a grand total of five cameras in tow, the LG V40 ThinQ was supposed to give Samsung’s Galaxy Note 9 a run for its money in the ultra-high-end Android arena. But the list price was… not so great, the battery way too small, and the triple rear-facing shooter arrangement nowhere near as versatile and powerful in real life as expected.
We’re talking about the V405QA model, which is fully supported across GSM and CDMA networks nationwide and available from retailers like Best Buy and B&H Photo Video starting at arguably excessive prices of around $840. While you’re obviously not advised to purchase the unlocked LG V40 right now, it might not be such a bad idea to keep an eye out for some discounts.
